What the problem was
Seven products, each needing identity, billing, scheduling and a CMS. At four SaaS subscriptions a product, that is twenty-eight recurring bills, twenty-eight dashboards and twenty-eight vendors with an opinion about the roadmap, before a single product has a customer. For a one-person studio that isn't expensive; it's structurally impossible.
The usual way out is to run each product on whatever was cheapest that week, and end up with seven products that share a logo and nothing else.
What was decided
Build the layer once, and make every product a tenant of it. Three pieces, one account model, seven products on top.
devsforfun ID
Identity, OAuth and billing. Issues Supabase-compatible JWTs, so row-level security works the same way in every app.
inkform
A GitHub-native CMS for blogs, changelogs and docs, on an open-source Next.js framework.
clndr.pro
Calendars and scheduling, with a published SDK.
Why it was hard
This one can be checked without taking anyone's word for it. The checkout on pixelform.design runs on devsforfun ID, and the booking page runs on the clndr.pro API: not a screenshot of infrastructure, but the infrastructure itself, carrying the page you're reading.
Offseason and Tacit are concept builds: real code, real backends, no users. This one has uptime, error budgets, payment reconciliation and people who notice when it breaks.
What it produced
A layer seven products run on in production, operated by devsforfun Studio (OPC) Private Limited. The open-source pieces are on GitHub; the rest is running, which is a less impressive sentence than most portfolio copy and a more useful one.
